At e-Sling, the electric powertrain is currently being completed and a fuel cell system is being developed. Both systems involve certain dangers; for example, the electric powertrain must work with high-voltage components, some of them are under voltage during work. The fuel cell system uses hydrogen, which entails working on a gas system. In order to ensure safety at all times and to learn more about our installed systems and their dangers, the eight-member core team of e-Sling was able to book various courses with the platinum sponsor ITW Schindler.

For example, the aircraft module attended the course 'Electricians for High-Voltage Systems Automotive' for two days and completed it with level 2E.  Two team members of the aircraft module, who have to carry out work on the high-voltage system of the aircraft, have then successfully completed the course 'Working under voltage' for two more days. The course took place in the hangar in Dübendorf.

The three team members of the hydrogen module attended the course 'Working on gas drives' online for four days and completed it with level 2E.

At this point, the whole team would like to thank the platinum sponsor ITW Schindler, especially Mr. Daniel Lindinger and Dr. Stefanie Kaffarnik-Schindler, for the exciting and above all very instructive courses!
